Current model in our offer that combines unit, scale and temperature for monitoring one colony. The device can be installed at remote locations and everything is designed for year-round maintenance-free operation. All information can be displayed on computer or phone or during a visit to the location. The entire system can be expanded with additional sensors and scales according to the beekeeper's needs.

Main System Features

The device monitors weight, outdoor temperature and indoor temperature in the hive
Battery and solar panel for device power supply are part of the set
For communication we use WiFi networks or IoT LTE networks
The device is active only when transmitting data. Between intervals it is inactive, transmits no signal and saves battery.
If needed, basic functions can operate without internet connection.
It is a modular system that can be easily expanded with additional sensors and scales.
The control unit is equipped with a USB-C connector for possible charging of the battery.
All sensors are quality and robust, suitable for outdoor use.
The device is designed for long lifespan and maintenance-free operation.

Technical Parameters

Quality industrial strain gauge sensor ZEMIC L6E3 200kg, OIML certified in class III for commercial weighing.
Robust galvanized steel construction with dimensions 460×460mm, height 80mm.
Built-in ambient temperature sensor and temperature sensor for the hive.
Built-in WiFi module ensures data transmission to Velubee Cloud. In case of installation without available WiFi, an IoT module can be added to ensure data transmission via LTE network.
Control unit is equipped with CAN BUS data bus for connecting additional hive scales Velubee One.
In the basic set (battery + solar panel SP2W) max. 4 pieces of Velubee One can be connected.
If the system is powered by 230V mains adapter or other source (solar system 12V / 24V), up to 10 additional scales Velubee ONE can be connected.
The system can be expanded with weather station connection - Meteo Box.
Simple setup and calibration of the scale via web environment of smartphone or PC. Taring the scale can also be done remotely via internet.
